KG coming to boston

Kevin Garnett will be coming to the boston celtics. I heard the celtics are giving away a few good players including Al Jefferson. Now the team will be comprised of Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, and group of average players.

With that being said, who are the real competitors for the Eastern Conference because i really feel the celtics could make the finals now? The East is week and lebron taking his team to the finals single handedly provesd that last year. Lebron is great but no single player should be able to bring his team that far.

kg is nasty..any team he plays on will do good. as long as he has a descent point guard do dish him the ball he will be good. with paul pierce as long as they dont get selfish and they work together. the team will be good.

The only issue with the trade is the celtics arent left with any young potential or a bench. The rookies we picked up in the draft will have to put in some minutes immediatly.

yea true that could be a problem. as long as they grab maybe 1 or 2 descent rookies then i think they should be all set. all they will have to do it play a couple minutes a half to give paul pierce, and KG some breathing time
